Our Patient Care Approach

Our approach to treating patients begins with a fundamental understanding that each and every patient we see is a unique individual that should be treated with respect, dignity, and humility. You deserve for your care team to be punctual. You deserve to be listened to attentively. You deserve to feel like your opinions matter. You deserve to have your doctor take the time to explain the situation, your options, and the possible outcomes in language you can understand so you can make the informed decision that’s right for you. Most of all, you deserve your care team to actually care, and that is what Quinby Orthopedics is about.

We understand that what might be routine for us here at Quinby Orthopedics is not at all routine for you as a patient, and we are honored to be a part of our journey to reclaiming your life.

Our Consultative Treatment Process

1

Empathically Listen

We meet you with empathy in listening to your story, your concerns, and your goals. The better we can understand your situation by putting ourselves in your shoes, the better we can treat you and help you reach your goals.
2

Communicate Care Plan Options

Based upon your specific situation we will present you with all viable options that should be considered. Each option is discussed in detail regarding the process, ideal outcomes, and possible risks in language you can understand.
3

Care Plan Action

While we have years of experience treating thousands of patients, we believe you are best positioned to decide which care plan is best. Once the patient and care team select a direction it is our job to act on that plan to the highest degree of competence, efficiency, and professionalism. Our business is doing what it takes to get you back to living life to the fullest, and we’re quite good at that.
4

Successful Outcome Management

Each patient’s outcomes are monitored and measured to ensure goals are being met. We listen to the patient and are flexible in adjusting goals, or measures if needed to ensure success is achieved.

We Don’t Jump To SurgeRy

Each patient we treat is treated as an individual taking into account their unique injury or ailment, age, lifestyle, and goals. We then present all options to the patient and explain the process for each option, the ideal outcomes, and possible risks. We always try to meet a patient’s goals through non-surgical means when given the chance, and only propose surgical intervention when all other viable alternatives have been exhausted. At Advanced Bone & Joint we understand the magnitude of surgical intervention, and we do not approach it lightly. However, if surgical intervention is the best path to meeting a patient’s goals rest assured that you’re in good hands.
