Our Patient Care Approach
Our approach to treating patients begins with a fundamental understanding that each and every patient we see is a unique individual that should be treated with respect, dignity, and humility. You deserve for your care team to be punctual. You deserve to be listened to attentively. You deserve to feel like your opinions matter. You deserve to have your doctor take the time to explain the situation, your options, and the possible outcomes in language you can understand so you can make the informed decision that’s right for you. Most of all, you deserve your care team to actually care, and that is what Quinby Orthopedics is about.
We understand that what might be routine for us here at Quinby Orthopedics is not at all routine for you as a patient, and we are honored to be a part of our journey to reclaiming your life.

Successful Outcome Management
You may not have thought about the benefits of a smaller orthopedic practice rather than a large group. Providers like Dr. Quinby at Quinby Orthopedics of Rockwall have seen how all types of offices run and operate and can explain the differences you will see. In a smaller orthopedic practice, the benefits can be summed up into three categories: shorter wait times, more personalized care, and understanding the community you live in.
Picking the best time to schedule orthopedic surgery can be tricky, but there's one factor that might help make the decision for you: whether you've met your deductible...
All parents know children can be very accident-prone and are always getting bumps and bruises. But how do you know if your child has a broken bone or another serious injury? Sometimes as a parent it can be hard to tell if your child’s injury is something that needs additional care. When is a doctor’s visit needed for a pediatric injury and how do you know if you need to see an orthopedic surgeon?
Broken bones can happen as a result of falls, sports injuries, or other trauma. Here are a few symptoms Dr. Quinby, an orthopedic surgeon in Rockwall, Texas, says to pay extra attention to if your child becomes injured.

We Don’t Jump To SurgeRy
Each patient we treat is treated as an individual taking into account their unique injury or ailment, age, lifestyle, and goals. We then present all options to the patient and explain the process for each option, the ideal outcomes, and possible risks. We always try to meet a patient’s goals through non-surgical means when given the chance, and only propose surgical intervention when all other viable alternatives have been exhausted. At Advanced Bone & Joint we understand the magnitude of surgical intervention, and we do not approach it lightly. However, if surgical intervention is the best path to meeting a patient’s goals rest assured that you’re in good hands.
